Our History
Humble Beginnings
Page Academy, founded in 1908 by Robert and Della Page Gibbs, began as a private military school for boys in grades 1 through 12. For over five decades, the school cultivated leaders who served our nation with distinction, many reaching top-ranking positions in the military and excelling in various corporate fields. The academy’s early years laid a strong foundation for its enduring legacy of excellence.
In the mid-1960s, Page Academy underwent a significant transformation, shifting from its military affiliation to a college preparatory curriculum. This change marked a new era for the school, which retained its commitment to values-based education while embracing a broader academic focus. The core principles of integrity, respect, responsibility, and perseverance remained central to the Page Academy experience, shaping students into well-rounded individuals ready to tackle academic and life challenges.
